We are situated on the corner of a junction known locally as ‘Five Ways’, which is where the A515 (High Street / London Road) and the B5059 (West Road / Dale Road) cross over.
Delivery is free within Buxton. We have minimal charges for delivery outside of Buxton based on the distance from our shop. Prices are available upon request.
For items that require delivery much further afield we can recommend several reliable couriers.
Delivery charges must be paid for in full when you purchase your furniture.
We try to be as flexible as possible when it comes to delivery times and try to accommodate your needs as best as we can.
In order to keep our delivery costs to a minimum we operate a ONE man delivery service. This means that for large or heavy items, you will need to organise some form of assistance on delivery. If you are unable to do this and require help, please tell us when you buy.
Due to the nature of our insurance, we operate a door-to-door delivery service which means that items are delivered to the threshold of your property. Our friendly drivers will often assist in taking items beyond the threshold, but please note that they are not insured for any damage caused and therefore cannot be held responsible.
Items that require minimal assembly ie. wardrobes, dining tables, beds etc are sold as ‘customer self assembly’. If you require help with assembly of any items we can help but you will be charged for this service.
Items can be collected free of charge, however we have limited storage space so items can only be stored for a short period of time and need to be paid for in full before collection.
If you change your mind when you receive your furniture we are NOT obliged to accept a return. If we do accept a return then you will be offered a credit note to the value of your purchase.
It is your responsibility to ensure the item(s) you purchase will fit into your chosen location and/or we are able to deliver it. Please bear in mind access through doors, up stairs and around corners might damage the furniture or your walls. Once the item is in your property any damage incurred is covered by your own insurance. We will always try to help, but if the furniture will not fit we are not obliged to accept the return at any stage.
Please be aware you are purchasing items that are returned orders, discontinued lines or slight seconds and in some cases may have slight marks or blemishes. This is the nature of our stock. Wherever possible any marks will be clearly pointed out to you at the point of purchase.
If however you find your furniture to be faulty in any other way than that which has been outlined, we will endeavour to repair the problem or offer a replacement if this is not possible.
We are not responsible for faults due to water damage, unusual variations in temperature, colour fading due to heat or sunlight or normal wear and tear or your own personal damage. We will not be able to refund the goods in full if there are any signs of damage or misuse.
